In 2022, The Let Her Lead Initiative brought together community members driven to support women seeking elected office in local government. It was an inspirational evening that left many filled with hope and commitment.

Sara Arora, C0-Director
Sara Arora is committed to ensuring that every woman and girl has the resources, support, and confidence they need to lead and succeed. She believes that when women lead, they not only break barriers for themselves but also pave the way for future generations. At Let Her Lead, Sara is focused on creating inclusive spaces where women can thrive, share their stories, and inspire others to do the same.
Sara holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the UBC Sauder School of Business and currently works as a Deals Management Consultant at EY. In her free time, she’s catching another sunset, trying out a new workout class or jet setting to another country.
Sreeya Iyer, Co-Director
Sreeya Iyer believes in the transformative power of education. With a passion for uplifting underprivileged women, she launched a mentorship project and social enterprise in India, focused on empowering women through education. Sreeya sees education and mentorship as the twin pillars that can help women achieve their dreams and those around them.
At Let Her Lead, Sreeya is creating opportunities for young women to connect, learn, and take meaningful steps toward their aspirations. Her goal is to empower women to confidently claim their place in any sphere they choose—whether it’s the boardroom, the soccer field, or an art studio. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the UBC Sauder School of Business and currently works as a Marketing Specialist at TELUS. She loves exploring cozy bookstores in search of new reads, enjoying time with friends, or traveling to new destinations.
